Terms of Use

The service

Fajr is an iOS app that computes prayer times, shows the qibla direction, sends reminders, and can pause distracting apps during prayer windows. Prayer times are astronomical calculations — for religious certainty, confirm with your local mosque.

App blocking

Blocking is optional and always under your control: it works only after you grant Screen Time permission and choose the apps to pause, and you can change the selection, use the shield's “Emergency unlock”, revoke the permission in iOS Settings, or delete the app at any time. Without an active subscription or trial, no blocking is applied to your device.

User content

Fajr lets you choose the display name shown beside your streak and dhikr counts on the community boards. You are responsible for the name you choose. Names that are obscene, hateful, harassing, sexual, deceptive — including impersonating another person or organisation — or that advertise a product or service are not permitted, and neither is using the boards to harass anyone. We filter names automatically when they are saved and we review names that are reported. We may reset a name, disable renaming for an account, or remove an account at any time and without notice. You can report a name from the community board by pressing and holding a row; reporting also hides that person from your own view. Reports and questions: galimatsaidova28@gmail.com.

Disclaimer

Fajr is provided “as is”, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for missed prayers, missed notifications, or scheduling inaccuracies. Nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date above.
